Helping clients heal their relationship with food, body, and self while navigating anxiety and chronic illness.

Meet Alia:
Hello, I’m Alia — a licensed clinical social worker (LW1020772) in Washington State. I’m passionate about guiding clients toward greater well-being and self-understanding so they can create lives that feel grounded and balanced.
I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, body image concerns, life transitions, and chronic illness. My goal is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s feeling heavy, recognize your strengths, and take meaningful steps toward change.
Areas of Focus:
-
Anxiety and Depression
-
Stress and Life Transitions
-
Self-Esteem and Body Image
-
Relationship with Food and Disordered Eating
-
Type 1 Diabetes and Other Chronic Illnesses
My Approach:
I believe that you are the expert of your own life. My role is to walk alongside you — offering curiosity, reflection, and encouragement as we work toward your goals.
My therapeutic style is collaborative and strengths-based, grounded in systems theory — taking a holistic view of the many factors that shape your experience, from relationships to culture to environment.
I’ve completed a year-long Eating Disorders Certificate through the Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Counseling, a program that emphasizes a weight-neutral, Health at Every Size® framework and challenges systemic biases directed at larger bodies.

A Bit About Me:
I’ve spent over seven years working in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, community programs, and outpatient care. Across all environments, I’ve witnessed the power of resilience and the potential for growth when people feel truly seen and supported.
Outside of work, I love reading, listening to podcasts, exploring Seattle’s food scene, and walking my dog, Asher.
