A Bit About Rachel
Rachel has worked in a variety of settings with diverse population groups including the non profit sector with newly arriving refugees and homeless families, outpatient and residential mental health providing DBT skills groups to adolescents, and hospital and clinic based medical settings providing psychosocial support to families with a child or teen with a medical condition. While working in the Diabetes clinic at Seattle Children's Hospital Rachel developed a love for working with teens and young adults diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and their parents.
Rachel is a strengths-based clinician that believes her clients are the true experts of their lives, and therefore takes a collaborative approach to working with clients. She has training and experience in a variety of evidenced based practices (EBPs) including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She enjoys taking a client based approach of utilizing aspects of each of these EBPs in a way that meets the client’s unique needs; however, can offer a more standardized curriculum version of these EBPs if requested.
Outside of work Rachel loves to travel and eat good food with her family and friends. She is the mother to three precious daughters. Her oldest daughter, Mira Azalea, died shortly after birth due to medical complications. Her three daughters invite her to hold the both/and of loss and gratitude, pain and joy, everyday.

She believes that we all are inherently resilient and have the capacity for positive change. She takes a strengths-based, collaborative approach and sees each individual as the expert of their own life. Practically, this means that Alia will walk alongside you and provide assistance and space for you to identify, set, and achieve your goals. As a social worker, Alia is trained in systems theory, which takes a holistic approach to understanding an individual’s unique circumstances.
Alia is in the process of completing a year long eating disorders certificate through the Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Counseling, a program that takes an inclusive, weight-neutral, Health At Every Size approach that challenges harmful systemic biases directed at larger bodies.
Outside of work, Alia enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, checking out new restaurants in Seattle, and walks with her dog Asher.

A Bit About Grace
Grace has spent the past 10 years working across healthcare systems, community mental health, and education — supporting people from all walks of life. She takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach that honors her clients' lived experience — because they are the experts of their own stories. Grace believes that her role is to walk alongside her clients, offering warmth, accountability, and gentle curiosity as they work together to navigate the challenges that have shaped her clients' lives.
Grace is especially passionate about supporting womxn of color, young adult caregivers, and those ready to break cycles and redefine what healing looks like in their families.
The world can be heavy, and many of us have learned to be resilient just to survive. But Grace also believes in the possibility of joy — in finding moments of peace, laughter, and connection even amidst pain. Therapy can be a place to rediscover that balance.
Outside of work, Grace loves weightlifting, traveling, reading, and spending quiet evenings at home with her partner and their dog, Luna.
